Who We Are
The Chesapeake Chamber Music Competition is designed to promote new performance opportunities and encouragement for emerging professional ensembles. It is sponsored by Chesapeake Chamber Music, Inc., a non-profit organization registered under Maryland law. The Chesapeake Chamber Music offices are located in Easton, MD. The Chesapeake Chamber Music Festival, which began in 1985, brings internationally acclaimed musicians to the historic Eastern Shore area. In addition to the Competition, Chesapeake Chamber Music, Inc., produces the two-week Festival every June, Interlude Concerts in the Fall and Spring, a YouthReach program which introduces elementary school children to string instruments, and an Annual Spring Gala and Concert.
